On May 4th, the morning of the 2012 Kentucky Oaks the AMC ladies were up at the crack of the dawn to catch the magic of “Backside at the track” at Churchill Downs.
As the sun came up and the mist laid on the track, the fillies and Derby horses were being prepped for the races to come. Media was staked out to capture the magic on film, truly a sight to behold. TODAY NBC weekend news anchor, Jenna Wolfe was there reporting and the ladies had a chance to chat a bit with her about the American Made Chic Summer Bus Tour. She is a hoot even in person, can’t wait to see her in NYC on the Plaza! Yep– @Jenna…..you promised.
The magic and beauty at the backside staples was also highlighted by a stop off at the horse that was pegged to win it all- The Bodemeister trained by the famous trainer, Bob Baffert who if Bodmeister had one it all, it would have been his FOURTH Kentucky Derby win.
